Planning Commission Public Hearing
TOWNSHIP OF SOLON
COUNTY OF KENT, MICHIGAN
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the Township of Solon, Kent County, Michigan, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., at the Solon Township Hall, 15185 Algoma Ave., NE, Cedar Springs, Michigan, concerning proposed amendments to the Solon Township Zoning Ordinance. The amendments would permit existing dwellings and accessory buildings in the NC – Neighborhood Commercial District, exempt existing dwellings and accessory structures in the NC – Neighborhood Commercial District from site plan review, and provide regulations for existing dwellings destroyed by fire or other casualty in the NC – Neighborhood Commercial District.
A copy of the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance is on file in the Township office at the above-stated address, and may be examined during Township office hours. All interested persons may attend the public hearing and comment on the proposed amendment. Written comments concerning the proposed amendment to the Zoning Ordinance may be submitted to the Township offices at the above-stated address up to the time of and during the public hearing.
