For the August 4, 2026 Election, 2 organizations have been approved by the Kent County Clerk to field election challengers. Solon Township will hold 1 Absentee Voter Counting Board in the meeting room at Solon Township Hall, located at 15185 Algoma Ave NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319, and will allow each organization or political party to field 1 election challenger for said counting board. Solon Township is not participating in the pre-processing of absentee ballots prior to election day.
A challenger may not enter the absent voter ballot processing facility without first taking an oath and signing a document acknowledging the oath.
A challenger who uses an electronic device in an absent voter ballot processing facility to make a video or audio recording may be ejected from the facility.
